I have 17 years of elementary teaching experience, and I have been a part-time instructor at my alma mater for over 10 years where I teach instructional technology to pre-service and practicing teachers. I am also an educational consultant for the Source for Learning where I facilitate OK2Ask and MySciLife professional development.
I have presented nationally, and various publications have cited my teaching practices. Most recently I published a collaborative article on using social learning to make real-world connections in science for Science Scope magazine.
I live in Lancaster, PA with my wife, six children, and our dog, Nittany. Working on my family’s farm, reading, and spending time with family are a few things I enjoy outside of work.
